It was the last day of summer, and we had the joy of staffing J + T’s wedding at this scenic venue near Lake Wenatchee. We’re still thinking about the views, the pizza, and the horses.
A Mountain Venue with Heart
Brown Family Homestead sits on 15 private acres at the foot of Dirty Face Mountain. It’s one of the most charming Leavenworth wedding venues we’ve worked. Forest views, open meadows, a ceremony site with benches made from tree slabs. Everything about it feels naturally beautiful and relaxed—the kind of place where guests truly exhale.
Partnering with Great Vendors
Our STIRR team provided waitstaff service for the evening, working alongside the venue’s own bartenders, the incredible catering crew from Cascadia Pizza Co., and the Brown Family Homestead staff. Special thanks to Kailen Duffield, the venue owner and day-of coordinator, who kept everything flowing with calm, friendly professionalism.
Sweet Details & Special Moments
Dinner was hot, fresh wood-fired pizza (and yes, it was as good as it sounds). Then came one of the prettiest dessert spreads we’ve seen: cupcakes that looked like roses, heart-shaped cookies, a sweet little cake, and twinkle lights all around. We helped with setup and restocking to keep everything photo-ready and guest-friendly throughout the night.
A fun bonus? The homestead animals nearby. One of our staff even shared a quiet moment with a curious horse that wandered up to the fence during cocktail hour and, of course, stole the show.

After such a great experience, we’re excited to now be part of the preferred vendor list at Brown Family Homestead. We can’t wait to return for more events in the future.
